Interview with coach and captain-Edward Jacobs:

• Q: How do you feel winning MicroLeague?
• A: Well first of all I'd like to thank Mr. Hasan Çakar for organizing this wonderful tournament. Even though it was a virtual competition it feels always great to be in that number 1 spot.
• Q: Did you have doubts of winning the title?
• A: Definitely, we lost to Vetria in the group stage and when we found out that we're going to play them in the finals I feared we'd lose but everything turned out well and I'm happy about that.
• Q: Will you compete next season to defend the title?
• A: Of course, I'm also looking forward to meeting new teams next season.
• Q: Do you think your title will be under threats, with the hosts Arion SC and Mouzilo Eagles, your main rivals Dynamo Hasanistan who are trying to sign Luke Fawcett and obviously Vetria City BC?
• A: Vetria City is probably our most dangerous opponent alongside with Dynamo who's got a decent team. Arion need to develop their potential, they can become really good; and same goes for the Eagles of Mouzilo.
• Q: Do you think Lyonesse Red Lions will struggle again next season or will they give you a threat to the title?
• A: I truly hope the Red Lions will put in more effort next season, they can be of a big threat if underestimated.
• Q: Thank you for the meeting Mr. Jacobs and well done!
• A: My pleasure, see you next season!

MicroLeague 2013 Final!!!

After a 3-0 victory on games for BC Spartak against Dynamo Hasanistan and a near 3-2 victory on games for Vetria City over Arion SC. The final will be between:

BC Spartak vs Vetria City   The record between the two is one win each but BC Spartak are a far better team but Vetria City being the only team to have beat them.

The two last games of the group stage before the final four games in Mouzilo were played today.

One more game left!!!

Yesterday, Arion had to win one game just to stay in the tournament. Today, they are second on point differance after two of the most exciting games in the tournament.

These two games were the most exciting games in the group stage only being beaten by Vetria City vs Spartak BC.

Today's results have just determined the final four: BC Spartak, Dynamo Hasanistan, Vetria City and Arion B.C.!

Exciting game day!!!

Red Lions got their first victory yesterday for the whole season. If they win against Arion they have a great chance of getting to the final four. However, a Arion victory would mean Dynamo and Vetria City will go through to the final four as well Arion going through. Dynamo will play their second game against the Eagles. They won the last game, 73-63.

14th of May!!!

The two games today were amazing, the Mouzilo rivalry and the Red Lions vs Vetria City.

The season is ending. We are reaching the knockout round soon but here are the 11th of May's results:

Mouzilo Eagles' season kick off with a defeat!!!

Mouzilo Eagles have losted their first game 62-57 to current league leaders, Spartak.

Red Lions in deep trouble!!!

After a 60-50 defeat to Dynamo Hasanistan, they look not to win the title this year. After 5 defeats and not a single win it looks like Red Lions won't win the title this year. Meanwhile Dynamo, Arion and Vetria City are joint second with 6 points. Dynamo are yet to play anyone other than Spartak and Red Lions (both twice).

Spartak back on winning run!!!

Spartak have proved that Vetria City's victory over them was not the turning point of the league put just a shock loss after they strongly defeated Arion B.C. 78-58 at Arion's home.

Red Lions lose another game!!!

Lyonesse Red Lions have remained winless while undefeated BC Spartak lost today. Lyonesse Red Lions lost 77-55 to Mouzilo's Arion SC.

Vetria City shock undefeated Spartak!!!

Vetria City B.C. shocked BC Spartak 73-61, even though in the last meeting, Vetria City lost 61-50. BC Spartak's undefeated season has ended and either Vetria City, Dynamo Hasanistan, Arion SC or any team who needs to play yet can over take BC Spartak.

Ahead of the games we expect a possible success for sad strugglers, Red Lions. This could also see BC Spartak face their first defeat against Vetria City who lost 61-50 in the last meeting between these to.

Arion thrash Vetria City!!!

Mouzeliot side, Arion thrashed Vetria City 70-55 in their first game. Vetria City were favourites ahead of the game but they faced a big shocker.

Red Lions look not to win MicroLeague this season!!!

The Red Lions faced a 65-63 defeat to Vetria City B.C.giving Red Lions a major worry. Bottom of the MicroLeague table and not a single win this season yet.

BC Spartak 77-67 Dynamo Hasanistan

Another success for BC Spartak led to BC Spartak keep their undefeated record. A defeat to Dynamo Hasanistan could of affected their title chances as a defeat could of helped the Dynamo Hasanistan over take them. BC Spartak now have no major challenge to their lead. However Arion and Eagles (the two Mouzeliot representitives) could steal the lead when they play.

Vetria City's season starts with a defeat!!!

Vetria City B.C had a sad 61-50 defeat today. Vetria City B.C were lended tired players from the victorious Dynamo Hasanistan who beat Red Lions today. Vetria City B.C in their next game against Lyonesse Red Lions are expecting to win.

Lyonesse Red Lions struggling!!!

Dynamo Hasanistan just signed a new player replacing Fawcett who was kicked off the team and he payed off as they beat Lyonesse Red Lions, 72-60. Coach Lothian I of the Red Lions gave us an interview after the game.

Interview:

Q: How do you feel about two defeats?

A: Well, Lyonesse has a lot of work to do Offensively....our near victory in the first game proves the defense is there but not the "shot".

Q: Do you think you will do any team changes or transfers?

A: No we have a good squad, they just need some fine tuning and I feel we will be in the running with BK Spartak and the others.

Q: Your next game is against the Vetrian side, Vetria City B.C, what is your prediction?

A: I've learned through the years not to make predictions but, I do foresee "Lions" on the horizon.

Q: Do you Red Lions still have a chance and if not who will win?

A: I think we All have chance but, I await some of the other teams to play first.

There is still a long to go but Red Lions could get the boost they need when they play Vetria City B.C tomorrow. Plus unlike the victors of today's game, Red Lions have a defensive skill that could win them any game just they need a better offense.

BC Spartak show themselves as possible winners of the tournament after an amazing second victory over Lyonesse Red Lions.

2013 Season and first ever season kicks off with an amazing game!!!

Akharnian side BC Spartak took on the Hasanistani representitives Dynamo Hasanistan. BC Spartak going in as favourites shown that after a successful 78-62 victory away in Batyr Basketball Stadium. BC Spartak's performance today could lead them to winning the first ever MicroLeague title.
